my storytelling approach

My goal is to capture life as it really is. I will absolutely be prompting you along the way, but this won't be a "everyone say cheese and look at the camera" photo session. My approach is much more like a documentary. I'll give you some loose direction and the goal is for you to put your own spin on it so that it feels natural. When it comes to families, please expect the best kind of chaos. Kids will be kids and their personalities is what I want to capture most. Let them run the show. I promise you won't regret the results.

I'm not a magician. If you're in love, it will SHOW. If one of you doesn't want to be there, it'll show. If you're looking for beautifully candid memories, I am absolutely your girl but all parties need to be willing and excited to share an hour or so of connection together! Your only job is to truly be yourselves. Be affectionate and be relaxed. Let yourselves embody softness, connection and love.  Our time together will be as relaxed as you're willing to let it be!

35mm film

I am a huge admirer of film photos and love to offer them as an add on to normal sessions. (+$75) The nostalgic feel that film evokes is unmatched and it really adds a sense of authenticity to your gallery. Pricing

Let’s keep it simple. I offer documentary style portraits, couples/engagements, maternity and family/newborn sessions and they’re all priced the same. All sessions will have the option to purchase a photo album for an additional $70.

30 minute sessions are $300+

45-60 minute sessions are $450+

  • Absolutely! My welcome guide includes a style guide and preparation tips for your session.

  • At this time, I’m only taking on intimate elopements.

  • I have a location guide available for some of my favorite spots. If you’ve got a location that means a lot to you, that helps bring meaningfulness to your session. Newborn sessions are done in-home or we can rent a home-styled studio!
